In the case that a student needs an extension to a specific deadline, the department should decide what extension is appropriate and then communicate the information by completing this form

Submitting this form does not guarantee approval for extension and is determined on a case-by-case basis By submitting this request, the supervisor/chairperson of the committee, graduate advisor, and candidate agree and indicate the intention to complete the examination and submission at/by the date specified above To be considered a graduation candidate for the current term, all approved documents must be in the system by the required end date listed on the calendar. Anything submitted after this date cannot be guaranteed for graduation and the student may have to reapply for graduation in the next term
