Students who do not currently meet the criteria to change into a CAPPA major may request to be placed on the Non-Major Interest Waitlist to explore future eligibility Please note: Students may only join the Non-Major Interest Waitlist up to two times and no higher than the second semester of the first year of the program. After the second occurrence, eligibility for further consideration requires documented academic progress that aligns with CAPPA admission expectations and requires approval from the Director of Student Success and Advising. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________ Permission for major required courses WILL NOT be given to non-majors before our current majors have been seated. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________ • Non-majors will require a permission number to enroll into the CAPPA. Permission numbers will emailed to the student's UTA email address when permission has been granted. • Students would only contact arch.advising@uta.edu for possible permission and questions about CAPPA classes.
