CAPPA Undergraduate Portfolio Review Submission

This is the portal to submit undergraduate portfolios and syllabi for consideration and review.

The work must be from a college-level course with a final grade of "B" or better for consideration.

The portfolio must present visual work that corresponds to each course in need of review by CAPPA.

You are encouraged to provide your own brief summary for each course; however, the visual work will be the determining factor.

For this evaluation process, students provide in their portfolios SAMPLES of original visual work from each course in architecture completed at previous institutions. A CAPPA faculty member examines this work in order to place each student in an appropriate design studio. In addition, the faculty member identifies which architecture courses will or will not be given transfer credit.

Our programs are very rigorous in developing freehand drawing, model-building, and digital design skills.

The portfolio should be neatly organized and labeled to clearly show individual work that you completed in specific classes. The portfolio should be detailed and show how your design understanding and skills developed as you progressed. The portfolio should also show your pride in your work. If group projects are submitted, indicate all team members and specifically address the work that you contributed to the project.

At the conclusion of the portfolio review, transfer student will be notified on how many transfer courses will be applicable to our program. Transfer credit is not guaranteed. The portfolio/syllabi review will determine your proper placement in our program. This portfolio review will also fulfill our First Year Foundations Competency requirement.

The maximum submissions combined must be 20mb or less.
