MPower is a cohort based group directly advised by the Intercultural Student Engagement Center located in University Center, Suite 110.

About:
The MPower program is a retention-based program. MPower members have amazing opportunities for mentorship, academic support and develop leadership skills.

Members enjoy networking and social activities including faculty/staff mixers, career development and guest speakers.

MPower Membership Agreement
All MPower members are expected of the following

- Be a current enrolled student at UTA

- Be respectful of others, and uphold a standard of excellence

- Attend 65% of the meetings

- Participate in at least one campus wide tradition or activity per semester

-Submit midterm and end of semester grade reports

-Engage in a community service project

-Meet with MPower Advisor for semesterly 1:1s

- Meet with an academic coach and develop a strategy to improve any grades that fall below a "B" average
