The following checklist is provided to help you ensure that your syllabus will be considered. Please confirm that your syllabus meets the stated requirements. Checkboxes The syllabus begins with a course purpose statement which clearly specifies that the course fulfills the requirements for the selected core component area. Course content and assignments fulfill the requirements of the selected component area. The learning outcomes required by THECB for the selected component area are stated verbatim in the list of objectives for the course. Any other learning outcomes are clearly stated. The relevant learning outcomes are clearly listed for each assignment. If the communal assessment model is proposed, signature assignments and their related learning outcomes must be clearly identified. If the individual assessment model is proposed, the syllabus must include appropriate and valid assessment strategies for each learning outcome.
