Nominations will be judged on the following characteristics: communication, digital technology, problem solving, professionalism/work ethic, intercultural fluency, career management, leadership and teamwork. In order to be eligible for consideration, student employees must have worked a minimum of 5 months part-time during the selection period from June in the prior year through May of the current year. Currently enrolled UTA student assistants, work-study student assistants, student associates, work-study student associates, student interns, graduate assistants, research assistants, and teaching assistants who work on campus can be nominated for this award. The deadline for nominations is Monday, February 28th. Nominations received after February 28th will not be considered. Please note that additional materials will not be considered. Please work within your department to submit ONLY ONE nomination per student employee. Please note: more than one submission will not be considered by the committee for a student employee. If more than one is received, we will use the submission given by the student employee’s supervisor. If the student employee’s supervisor did not submit a nomination and more than one is received then we will use the first nomination submitted.
